What is Beta?

Beta Theta Pi (aka Beta) is a social fraternity, founded in 1839 at Miami University. The Beta Delta chapter of Beta Theta Pi at Cornell University was founded in 1879.

Beta is one of the most diverse fraternity chapters at Cornell. We have 35 brothers from all over the world, from New York to Nairobi studying 25 different majors and minors. The brothers of Beta are academic achievers, leaders on campus, and young professionals who also know how to enjoy themselves.

Brothers enjoy top-notch housing, a personal chef and meal plan, gym, extensive alumni network, lively social calendar and lifelong brotherhood.
